The PAYA Book Festival 2010 was so much fun and I'm not even kidding! These are the pics I have so far. My face hurt from smiling so much, so I know there are a lot more pics and I'd love copies for my scrapbook. Sooo if you have one of me not blinking...email it to me! LOL

Group photo after brunch! Anne from Potter, Percy and I, Cyn Balog, Laura and Michelle from the Borders Express in Exton, Katelyn from Bookshelf Sophisticate,Jamie from The Perpetual Page-Turner , Christina from Confessions of a Book Addict, Jennifer Murgia, and me.

Okay, so the cat was not at PAYA(:D), but this picture was just posted on Facebook and I think it's quite cute!

First, I want to say Happy Official Release Day to The Broken Lake!!
Some of you got it a little early which is way cool. Helped me settle
the nerves while waiting and waiting for today!
I'd also like to thank everyone who has already commented and
emailed me kind words about it. It means a lot. I wish I could tell you
how much. I happen to think Sophie and Wes' story is pretty cool and
addictive, but it feels really good when other people enjoy it too :D.
Now...let's address my seemingly new title of Cliffhanger Queen.
No, I do not do it on purpose :). I will honestly tell you my stories
end where my visions stop and where I believe the characters stop
knowing what happens next. I feel like you when my books end.
I don't have the whole series already outlined to where I can
control that part of it. The story takes me where it wants to, and I
love that because it seems more real to me that way. Does that make
sense?
Anyway, after I finished The Broken Lake, it took a long time for
me to start seeing where the story was going. I was anxious! But when
it hit me, my fingers started flying across the keyboard to capture it
all. I was so excited just to see it unfold, so I hope you will be too!
Well, that's it for now. Thanks again for reading my updates and
stories. I appreciate it very much! And don't forget to hop over to The
Pace Series on Facebook to check out frequent updates and giveaways :D! Plus....check out the Event dates over the next few months. I'd love to meet you somewhere!

Wow guys, it's less than three weeks until The Broken Lake release. I can't believe it. I wish I had some other sparkly news, but this is it for now. I'm just working hard and writing every day to keep the stories alive. (I'm also biting nails in between about this release, but we won't talk about that!). I just can't wait until you guys read it, and I hope you like it. Your support means the world, and I want to bring you stories you'll enjoy.
Oh, and keep the emails coming because I love to hear from you guys. Which reminds me, check out the scrapbook. Got a very cool picture yesterday...from the Netherlands:D! How cool is that?
And for
those of you asking about the Kindle version of The Broken Lake, there
will be one. Look for it around August 19th! It's coming! Yay!

This month has been pretty busy gearing up for the release of The Broken Lake. It's funny how I'm just as nervous with the second one as I was the first! It's like I'm suddenly realizing other people will be reading it, and now I have to wait for the reactions! Agh!
So how do I handle it? I keep busy and keep writing. It helps settle the nerves! On that note, I'm happy to report that I've finished the first novel in another series. I can't share too many details on it yet, but I hope to soon! It's an awesome novel, also with a unique paranormal/sci-fi twist!
On another note, just as exciting as that for me, is my progress on The Pace Series, Book 3. If you haven't already heard, it's titled, The Iron Quill. What does that mean? People are still trying to figure out what The Broken Lake could mean, and I promise once you read it, you'll know! Same with The Iron Quill. But, I will tell you it has something to do with something being written and unchangeable. And not something already written. Hmm...
All teasers aside...it has been the hardest book for me to write by far, because it deals with solutions and answers and delves deeper into Wes' world. My brain often hurts after trying to figure things out, but it's good so far, so I'm happy! Of course, I'm going to say that right?! But it is...I promise:).
Lastly, I thought I'd share something cool I found last night. I came across Alex Reads Blogspot and discovered he does all these video reviews and video In My Mail Boxes, and guess what was in his mailbox? The Pace! My favorite part of book signings and fairs is actually getting to see the people who are going to read or already read The Pace. It was too cool to "see" one of the winners for a Pace contest. If you have a few minutes, you can watch it, and you might find some new books too. He has a ton of awesome looking ones in his mailbox!

The Pace finally has a friend!!! I'm so excited. I've been waiting to get this in the mail and it finally came today!! Yay! I'm thrilled.
Words can't begin to describe how excited I am to get this book. Maybe that's why I've had this grin on all day!

I really am so happy to share this story with you. Sophie and Wes have their work cut out for them and watching their story unfold from inside my head has been the best reading experience of my life, and I can't wait for you guys to read it too! I feel so fortunate to hold this sequel in my hands that I can not forget to thank everyone who cares about their journey too.
I want to show my appreciation to you guys, so I'm giving away free copies to random Pace Series fans on Facebook every month until its release. There will also be some blogs hosting awesome giveaways over the next couple of months, and I'll update Facebook with those links too, so stay connected and thanks again for stopping by for Sophie and Wes updates!!
